Anyone planning to do an immediate update to windows 10? Anyone got any interesting information about windows 10?

I'm sticking with Windows 7 for the foreseeable future. I just don't see any reason to upgrade.

Got the free upgrade thing at the bottom of my screen. Just wondering what it will break if I click it.

I have tested the beta version... It is fucking great. They have changed the control panel icon again so you can't really find it anywhere in the system. You gotta use the "search" icon to find it, which it doesn't find. But, then, it asks you if "this was helpful". It takes about two weeks to find the control panel and once you finally locate it, it turns out to be just a front icon for 'you got rickrolled" video on youtube. It also has some amazing features like "sudden system upgrade", which almost always kicks in when you expect it the least like just when you are wanking off to porn - the system has to reboot all by itself, of course, arbitrarily, when you don't want it to. One thing I really like about it is how this robotic voice says "you got new apps to do that" everytime you try to do mundane shit like change the volume or open a new tab. There are also hidden icons that only come on if you slide your mouse in a very specifc manner on certain spot of your screen. The bummer part is that you can't quite click on those icons because they quickly disappear when you try to. So, you get rickrolled again. It is like a treasure hunt that never gives any fruit. But the best part is that windows 10 comes with its patches, which have to be installed before you can install the OS. But in order to get the precum patches you need to install the OS. So, you have to do a "search" on windows 9 and inquire about the patches first, and it tells you that you need windows 10 to get the patches before you can install windows 10.

Don't forget that Cortana, shares every location, website, search entry, and background noise of every place you have visited with the cloud. You can not turn this feature or, nor can you delete the data it sends to Cortana's friends at corporate HQ, and the international spy network. She also reads through you e-mails and reminds you of important dates you might forget, and shares this of course with all her friends.

Windows 10 is Bollox. It's all going to be a subscription service, you won't get updates, security patches, nada without a subscription. Linux is the way forward, if you want an OS that doesn't track every single keystroke and works like it should, securily without the bolloxing, download a linux distro.

Updated. I like it but I don't like that updates are automatic. Turned all the privacy settings to off But the bastards still make it so your PC sends data to Microsoft.
